Individual Supports
Individual Supports (IS)
Our Individual Supports (IS) program provides individuals with one-on-one service, focusing on fostering independence and teaching the skills to thrive in the community and at home. Working at the individual level allows for support that is highly tailored and personalized to each individual's needs and interests.
"When I think about Individual Supports, four words come to mind: 'I believe in you.' Each day my team goes out there and encourages individuals to believe that they can be independent, live on their own, work within our community, volunteer, pay bills, cook themselves a hot dinner, enroll in college, even get their driver's license." - Brittany Sampson, Individual Supports Program Manager.

Thriving at home and in the community
While supported independence is the goal for most IS individuals, the program also encourages social activities. Opportunities for socializing include:
- Sunday Funday activities
- Group volunteer work
- Arts and crafts days
- "Bro Night"
- Friday night socials
- Horse therapy
- Visits to the Museum of Science.
In addition, our IS team facilitates our participation in the Special Olympics.
