Finding Strength, Joy—and A Place to Call Home

When Caetlin first arrived at her Cape Abilities group home, life had been anything but stable. After losing her mother and facing uncertain transitions, she was looking for more than just a roof over her head—she was looking for a place to belong.

Today, Caetlin has found more than that—she’s found a true “home” with her housemates and a strong bond with the caring staff. In a warm, supportive environment, her world has opened up again. She loves spending time with her peers, sharing meals, laughing together, and learning new ways to cope and connect.

One of her greatest joys? Horseback riding. Each week, Caetlin visits a local stable where she’s formed a quiet connection with the horses. The rhythm of riding brings her calm and confidence, and each visit fills her with pride. It’s one of the many ways she continues to heal, grow, and discover new passions.

At Cape Abilities, we are honored to be part of Caetlin’s journey—and with your support, we can continue helping individuals like her find community, joy, and purpose.
