Over the past 20 years, Cape Abilities Farm has grown from a small farm stand on Route 6A into a thriving community space rooted in purpose, opportunity, and connection. What began with a bold vision and a generous gift has blossomed into a place that has touched countless lives across Cape Cod.
As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we invite you to look back with us — through stories from the past 20 years, photo galleries filled with memories, and special events celebrating the people and community that helped shape the Farm into what it is today.
Most importantly, we want to thank the many individuals, families, staff, volunteers, community partners, and sponsors whose support, generosity, and belief in our mission made this journey possible.

THE HISTORY OF THE FARM
Cape Abilities Farm began in 2006 when the Milligan family generously gifted their farm on Route 6A in Dennis to Cape Abilities. What started as a bold vision quickly grew into something much larger: a place where individuals with disabilities could build skills, gain meaningful employment opportunities, and be part of a thriving community space.
Over the past 20 years, the Farm has grown from a small farm stand into a beloved Cape Cod destination known for fresh produce, flowers, plants, local goods, and community connection. At its heart, the Farm remains rooted in opportunity, creating meaningful vocational experiences and valued roles for the individuals Cape Abilities supports.
Today, Cape Abilities Farm is more than a farm. It is a place of purpose, inclusion, and growth — for the individuals who work there, the community that supports it, and everyone who visits.
