Cape Leisure is one of these impactful partners that is making a difference. The high-quality outdoor furniture company began donating generous quantities of overstock furniture, ready to be sold at Cape Abilities Thrift.
With proceeds from sales at the thrift shop supporting Cape Abilities’ programs and services, Cape Leisure’s generosity meant they quickly became an instrumental partner.
“Cape Leisure has generously donated between $60,000-$70,000 worth of retail outdoor furniture, accessories, and games to Cape Abilities. This was mainly an overstock of items or a clearance of inventory to make room for their upcoming season,” said Paul Critikos, manager of Cape Abilities Thrift. “Cape Abilities Thrift has done almost $15,000 in sales because of it, and it’s been a huge help!”
In addition to selling items at Cape Abilities Thrift, Cape Leisure’s donations have directly impacted individuals at our Lyndon Center, where new outdoor tables and chairs have enhanced the patio space and allow individuals to gather and socialize.
